Why I Started This

I kept thinking about how much real mail matters — how different it feels to hold something in your hands versus scroll past it on a screen.

There's something about a letter that says I took time for you. I wanted to create that feeling for people every single month.

So I built The Violet Letter. A warm personal letter, a recipe worth keeping, a quote worth saving — all in a beautiful violet envelope that stands out in a mailbox full of bills.

Good to Know

When will I receive my letter?

Every Violet Letter ships on the 15th of each month. US subscribers typically receive their envelope within 3–7 days. If you subscribe before the 15th, your first letter ships that month. After the 15th, your first letter ships the following month.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely — no questions asked. Email us at hello@thevioletletter.com before the 15th of the month and we'll cancel before your next shipment. We never want you to receive something you didn't want.

What if my letter doesn't arrive?

If your violet envelope hasn't arrived within 14 days of the 15th, reach out and we'll make it right — either by resending your letter or refunding that month. Please double-check your address at checkout as that's usually the culprit.

How do gift subscriptions work?

Gift subscriptions are available in 3, 6, and 12-month options for all three tiers. At checkout you'll enter the recipient's mailing address. We'll send them a beautiful letter every month for the duration of the gift — and they'll think of you every single time.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently The Violet Letter ships within the United States only. We hope to expand internationally in the future — stay tuned.

What's the difference between the three tiers?

All three tiers receive the same beautiful violet envelope with the personal letter, recipe index card, keepsake quote card, and journal prompt. The Faithful adds a KJV scripture verse card and faith-woven themes. The Correspondent adds a pre-stamped postcard so you can write back to us.
